Specifications:

Built in England in February and delivered to France in March as a left-hand drive European export model (not a US re-import), it was first registered in April 1970. Body repairs were made in 1999, the engine rebuilt in 2003. In 2008 the chassis was professionally rustproofed. Reliable, roadworthy and fun, this icon of the seventies era represents one of the most widely sold typical British sports cars ever made. It can be fitted with a chrome slatted grill and original 'Rostyle' wheels or be easily adapted to a more sporty look typical of the late seventies model with a recessed black radiator grille and the silver 'Minilite' wheels that were very popular at the time.

Engine: 1.800 c.c. 70kW (95PS), unleaded super petrol 8l/100km (35.5mpg), rebuilt in 2003 by Freddy Götzinger, breathed upon by Annette Hue and very reliable.
Transmission: manual 4-speed with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears - six-speed transmission!
Weight: 1.085 kg.
Performance: top speed in theory 170 km/h (106mph) downhill with a following wind. Cruises around 130/140 km/h.
Acceleration ... not blindingly quick but easily enough to go with the flow.
Brakes: have recently been completely overhauled and stop in a straight line.
Note: no power-assisted steering so manoevering needs planning!
Registration: German documents. German TÜV valid until October 2012.
Based in Wiesbaden, central Germany.
